A heavily camouflaged Hyundai i30 N mule has been snapped, wearing a more aggressive body kit a new alloy wheels
Hyundai i30 N owners will soon be able to customise their cars with a range of new aerodynamic options and accessories, based on these spy shots. This mule appears to be a pre-production version of the Korean firm’s ‘N Option’ show car, which made its debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, previewing a range of 25 styling accessories.
Like the show car, this test mule comes with an aggressive front splitter, finned side skirts and a set of lightweight, ten-spoke alloy wheels. However, the show car’s huge rear wing, quad-tipped exhaust and vented bonnet have been ditched.

Hyundai’s ‘N Option’ show car also came with a range of interior upgrades. These stretched to a pair of leather and Alcantara trimmed sports seats, carbon fibre replacements for the air vent surrounds, door handles and dashboard and Alcantara trim for the steering wheel, gearstick gaiter and centre armrest.
Other interior revisions could include Alcantara trim for the upper dash panel, sports pedals and red interior highlights. It’s likely that these extras will be sold to customers as official aftermarket accessories, as a bolt-on accessory pack.
Last year, Hyundai confirmed at Paris that the ‘N Option’ pack would be launched in the “near future.” The Korean manufacturer is yet to fix a launch date for its ‘N Option’ pack but, seeing as the parts are currently being tested on one of the company’s mules, we expect it will be soon.
New Hyundai i30 N Option accessories pack launched
Hyundai i30 N owners will soon be treated to a list of customisation items to spruce up their hot hatch even further.
The ‘N Option’ show car, which makes its debut at the Paris Motor Show, previews a range 25 possible accessories to add to the brand’s Renault Megane R.S. rival.

The most striking extra comes at the back of the car: a huge carbon fibre rear spoiler which sits on top of the standard car’s existing wing. A set of 20-inch lightweight cast alloy wheels are also offered, in this case wrapped in semi slick track day tyres.
Other exterior tweaks include a quad-tipped exhaust, a carbon fibre bonnet with integrated air vents and a new front grille with red highlights. The show car is finished in a unique matt white paint job with ‘N’ graphics.
Inside, there’s extra carbon fibre trim pieces to add on the air vent surrounds, door handles and dashboard. There’s a little more carbon on the lower spoke of the steering wheel, whose rim, like the top of the dashboard, gear gaiter and centre armrest, can be trimmed in alcantara.
The seats themselves are finished in a mix of leather and alcantara and feature N badges on the headrests, contrasting stitching and a red stripe down their spine. The other internal add-ons include sports pedals and red dashboard highlights.
While none of these parts are available to order just yet, Hyundai says that the N Option accessories pack will be launched in the near future.
